Every season of Reality TV shows brings about a new crop of contestants. Many of these Reality TV show contestants become household names.
Sometimes however not for their intended reason or talent.
American Idol has made Antonella Barba a household name because of racy pictures that were leaked on the internet. Sanjaya Malakar the 17 year old American Idol reality contestant has become synonymous with bad singing. American Idol has brought many names into the forefront of pop culture not for its true talent but weird or wild antics. Nick Zitsmann the uber geek was introduced in season 6 of American Idol.
Those trying out for Reality TV Fame and fortune don’t always get the positive attention they seek, but their Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame apparently are enough to keep them going.
